Located in one of Sydney's most iconic beachside suburbs, Bistro on the Greens is the newest venue to join the vibrant Coogee scene.

 

The lawns, bistro and bar create a stylish and relaxed atmosphere that is the perfect spot for lunch, dinner and everything in between. It is the ideal location for family get-togethers, coffee dates or catching up with friends, offering casual dining in a fun, social setting.

 

Situated within the South Coogee Bowling Club hid a huge open plan area that which had previously been under utilised. Built in the 1950's and displaying many of the features and materiality of this time, it was time for this space with great bones to get a long-awaited makeover.

 

Once the layers of paint and the asbestos were removed we then looked at increasing the natural light ratio. A large space, with high ceilings and exposed structural beams, was living in the shadows unless we could find a lighting solution that wasn't just artificial. Once we placed two large skylights into the room, it really started to warm up what was previously a cold and dark area.
